Elevating Hyperia’s Brand to match its AI innovation
When I joined Hyperia, their AI-powered technology was already transforming how users extract and summarize key insights from meetings and videos. However, their brand needed a refresh, one that felt more approachable while maintaining its strength and consistency.

A core element of their identity, the “Diamond”, was inspired by The Dark Side of the Moon album artwork. This perfectly mirrored Hyperia’s process: raw conversations entering the system and emerging as clear, structured insights. My role was to refine and amplify this concept, ensuring the brand visually reflected the sophistication of its technology.

What
Streamline the review process for call recordings by eliminating the need to sift through lengthy hour-long sessions. Hyperia provides transcriptions, AI-generated summaries, and key conversation highlights, allowing users to quickly focus on what truly matters.
How
Designing an intuitive, user-friendly web application that effortlessly integrates with calendar platforms. This allows Hyperia to automatically join meetings, record conversations, and generate transcriptions.
Why
As meetings become more frequent, keeping track of key insights and taking notes manually is both time-consuming and inefficient. Existing solutions were either too expensive or too complicated to implement. Hyperia set out to change that, offering a seamless, cost-effective way to capture and summarize conversations effortlessly.
Laying the Foundation: Mapping Hyperia’s user flow & sitemap
Our first step was to deeply understand Hyperia’s capabilities and define what we could offer to users. With a wide range of features all competing for attention, we needed a structured approach.

By organizing the platform’s content and hierarchy, we clarified user focus and streamlined navigation. This foundation wasn’t static, it evolved through continuous testing and user feedback, ensuring an intuitive and efficient experience.

Crafting Hyperia’s Core Experience: The Call Viewer
Redesigning Hyperia’s Call Viewer was one of the most challenging yet rewarding tasks. As the heart of the platform, this interface needed to seamlessly display key points, summaries, tags, and full transcripts, all in a way that felt intuitive and efficient.

We went through extensive iterations, gathering insights from customer interviews and live session analyses to pinpoint pain points and successes. Every adjustment was driven by real user data, refining layouts and presentation methods to create a truly optimized and user-friendly experience.

We introduced “Slidedeck”, a new way to navigate calls, designed to guide users directly to key moments instead of making them sift through the full transcript. However, we quickly realized it wasn’t enough, users weren’t relying on Slidedeck as intended to understand their calls.

This insight pushed us to keep iterating, refining the experience to better meet their needs.
A few more iterations about the Call Viewer experience.
Rapid and continuous iterations on the Call Viewer helped us pinpoint where we were missing the mark. Interestingly, hiding the full transcript, even though users didn’t interact with it directly, caused confusion.

They felt lost, unsure of what to do next. It didn’t feel like “home” to them; instead, it felt like we were deciding what data was “relevant” for them, even though it may not have aligned with their expectations.

With these insights in mind, we made a final iteration that combined the best aspects of all previous versions. This new approach struck a balance, delivering the right data while offering a familiar, intuitive experience that resonated with users. The result? A successful design that met both user needs and expectations.

Smart & Simple: The Core of Hyperia’s New Identity
Hyperia’s digital transformation marks a true breakthrough, driven by thorough research, strategic design, and creativity. As the design team behind the revamp, we didn’t just refresh the brand; we honed in on its essence.

By streamlining note-taking and post-meeting analysis, we created an experience that’s both intuitive and effective. Today, Hyperia’s identity shines through with a clear, unified approach that’s all about being smart and simple.
